SURFACE FINISHING
& TREATMENT

From type II anodizing on aerospace aluminum to ASTM B117 salt-spray-certified electroplating — complete surface treatment services that protect, enhance, and validate your parts.

Surface Finishing Capabilities

We handle every major metal and plastic surface treatment in-house, with full traceability and process control documentation.

Anodizing

Type II (standard) and Type III (hard-coat) anodizing for aluminum. Clear, black, and custom colors available. Thickness 0.0002"–0.002" controlled. MIL-A-8625 compliant.

Powder Coating

Electrostatic powder coating in 200+ RAL/Pantone colors with matte, gloss, and textured finishes. Steel, aluminum, and MDF. ASTM D3363 pencil hardness F–4H.

Electroplating

Zinc, nickel, chrome (decorative & hard), copper, and tin electroplating on steel, brass, and copper. RoHS-compliant trivalent chrome available.

Passivation

Citric acid and nitric acid passivation of stainless steel per ASTM A967 and AMS 2700. Removes free iron, improves corrosion resistance. Certificate of conformance included.

Bead Blasting & Sandblasting

Aluminum oxide, glass bead, and steel shot blasting for surface preparation, cleaning, deburring, and satin/matte texture finishing on metal and plastic parts.

Painting & Priming

Spray painting with epoxy primer, polyurethane topcoat, and specialty coatings. Masking for multi-color parts. Powder prime + liquid topcoat available for complex geometries.

Which Finish Do You Need?

Match your substrate, environment, and aesthetic requirement to the right treatment with our quick reference guide.

Anodize — Type II

Best for aluminum parts requiring corrosion resistance, controlled color, and electrical insulation without significant dimensional change.

AluminumCorrosionColorMIL-A-8625

Hard Anodize — Type III

For aluminum parts requiring extreme wear resistance and hardness (HRC 70+). Used in hydraulic pistons, cylinders, and high-wear sliding components.

Zinc Electroplating

Most economical corrosion protection for steel fasteners, brackets, and enclosures. ASTM B633 Type II clear or yellow chromate over zinc.

Nickel Plating

Electroless nickel for complex geometries with uniform deposit and excellent hardness. Bright nickel for decorative applications with RoHS compliance.

How It Works

Whether you're sending bare parts or ordering finishing as part of a machining or fabrication job, our process is smooth and fully documented.

1

Submit Parts / Order

Ship bare parts or specify finishing at time of order. Provide drawing callout, specification standard, or describe your requirements — we advise the rest.

2

Prep & Masking

Parts are cleaned, degreased, and masked per your drawing. Threaded holes, mating surfaces, and critical dimensions are protected prior to processing.

3

Finish Application

Parts move through controlled process tanks or booths with documented bath chemistry, temperature, time, and current density parameters for every batch.

4

Inspect & Certify

Coating thickness verified by XRF gauge or eddy current. Salt spray testing arranged on request. Certificate of conformance and material certs included.
