Yes, and we take production confidentiality seriously. We regularly sign production NDAs before beginning work on film, TV, and streaming projects. Your production details, prop designs, and creative assets are never discussed or shared publicly. We don’t post production work to our portfolio without explicit written permission from the production company. If you’re working under a strict confidentiality requirement, contact us directly before sharing any details and we’ll set up the NDA first.
Absolutely — this is one of the most common workflows for props and effects work. We print master patterns in SLA resin, finish them to your specified smoothness level, and you take them directly into your casting workflow. Standard SLA resin is compatible with both platinum silicone and urethane casting with appropriate mold release. For patterns requiring extreme smoothness (silicone skin textures, etc.), we sand to 800 grit and apply a thin clear coat before delivery. We can also design in split lines, registration keys, and sprue channels if you want the master optimized for a specific casting process.
Yes. Our large-format FDM printers handle single-piece prints up to 1000mm in the longest dimension. For pieces larger than our single-piece limit, we design and print in sections with engineered joinery — hidden seams, alignment pins, and internal reinforcement structures. We’ve assembled life-size character pieces, large sculpture installations, and oversized prop elements that read as single-piece objects. For very large pieces, we provide an assembly guide and hardware kit with every order.
Yes. We print flexible parts in TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) at different hardness levels — from 45A (very soft and stretchy) to 95A (firm but flexible). Flexible TPU elements are ideal for wearable joints, creature skin panels that need to flex with movement, gaskets, and any element that needs compliance without breaking. We can combine rigid and flexible materials in the same part on some printer configurations. Flexible SLA resins are also available for very fine detail at the cost of some elasticity range.
Yes. Limited edition sculpture runs are a service we actively support. Each piece in an edition is produced from the same file with the same process settings for maximum consistency. Edition numbering can be integrated into the model geometry (embossed or debossed on the base or back) or added via engraved plaque. We provide documentation on the production materials and process for inclusion with the artwork. Edition sizes from 5 to 500 pieces — all produced in-house with consistent quality control across every unit.
