Artistic 3D models often need mesh repair before printing — thin walls, non-manifold geometry, and excessive polygon counts are common in files created for rendering rather than fabrication. We prepare your artistic file for print without changing your design intent.
The right print orientation affects surface quality, structural strength, and support removal difficulty. We analyze each artistic piece and recommend the optimal orientation and scale before printing, sharing renders of the proposed setup for your approval.
Yes. Export your file as STL or OBJ and we’ll handle the rest. If your file was created for rendering rather than printing, it may need mesh repair (non-manifold geometry, thin walls, etc.) — we’ll diagnose any issues and fix them as part of the project. Blender’s native .blend format can also be imported directly on request.
There’s no practical upper limit for sculptural work. Using our split-and-bond technique, we divide large sculptures into sections at natural seam lines, print each section, and join them with structural adhesives and internal armatures. The seams are then filled and finished to be completely invisible. We’ve produced life-size figure sculptures and architectural-scale installations this way.
It depends on material and coating selection. For outdoor pieces, we recommend printing in ASA (UV-resistant) or SLS Nylon, priming with a UV-resistant filler primer, painting with exterior-grade acrylic or enamel, and applying a UV-blocking clear coat. Properly finished outdoor pieces can last years with minimal degradation. Indoor pieces with standard paint and clear coat will last indefinitely.
If you provide dimensions and detailed photographic reference from multiple angles, we can model a reproduction. For the highest accuracy, a 3D scan of the original is ideal — we can recommend scanning services, or you can use a smartphone scanning app for simpler forms. Note that reproducing copyrighted sculptural works may require permission from the rights holder.
We print client-provided files or files they have licensed rights to. We do not independently source and print copyrighted models without the rights holder’s authorization. If you have purchased or downloaded a model for personal print use, we can print it for you under a standard service agreement.
