Yes — with the right process and finishing combination. SLA resin printing produces a surface quality close to injection molding, especially after sanding and coating. For packaging prototypes, we typically print in SLA, sand to 400 grit, prime, and apply your brand colors. The result is a packaging sample that reads as production-quality in photographs and in-person presentations. We’ve produced packaging samples that retail buyers have approved without knowing they were 3D printed. If exact production materials matter (specific plastic resins, etc.), we’ll advise upfront on what’s achievable.
