ExCom started in 2016 when our founder shipped his first FDM prototype out of a 400 sqft garage. By 2019, we were on the floor of a 6,000 sqft facility. By 2022, 18,400 sqft.
We’ve never taken outside capital. Every piece of equipment, every engineer hire, and every square foot of production space was funded by parts shipped on time.
Today we run 22 printers across six technologies — FDM, SLA, SLS, resin, large-format, and multi-material — and every single print starts with an engineer who reads the drawing.
2016 — Origin
First FDM printer. First client: a local architectural firm that needed 6 site models in a week.
2018 — SLA Online
Added stereolithography capacity. First aerospace client. First prop rental to a TV production.
2020 — SLS Expansion
Added SLS nylon capability. Moved to 6,000 sqft. First production contract over 10,000 units.
2022 — Scale
18,400 sqft facility. Large-format printers online. ITAR registration for aerospace clients.
2024 — Multi-Material
Multi-material and composite printing. 22 printers. 312 active clients.
2026 — Today
Full-stack additive manufacturing. 184,000+ parts delivered. 98.4% first-pass yield.
