Export Commodity started in 2016 with a single FDM printer and a commitment to quality that bigger shops couldn’t offer. Our founder, with a background in mechanical engineering and industrial design, saw the gap between what small businesses needed and what was available.
We grew by doing great work and letting clients tell the story. No marketing budget, no trade shows — just exceptional output that spread word of mouth through Houston’s engineering and design community.
Today, ExCom operates a full production floor in Houston with 40+ printers, a finishing studio, and a team of engineers, artists, and project managers serving clients across all 50 states and 12 countries.
