Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Export Commodity LLC website at exportcommodity.com and our manufacturing services. By placing an order or using our site, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Export Commodity LLC provides custom 3D printing, rapid prototyping, CAD design, and contract manufacturing services. All services are provided on a project-by-project basis. We reserve the right to refuse service for any project at our discretion.
Orders and Quotes
- All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
- Orders are accepted upon receipt of written confirmation and deposit (50% for orders over $500)
- Rush orders (less than 48-hour turnaround) may incur additional fees as quoted
- Changes to specifications after order acceptance may affect pricing and lead time
- We are not responsible for errors in customer-provided files or specifications
Intellectual Property
You represent that you own or have the right to use all CAD files, designs, and specifications you submit to us. We will not reproduce, sell, or share your designs without your written consent. ExCom retains the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio unless you request confidentiality in writing prior to project start.
Payment Terms
- Standard payment: Net 30 for approved business accounts; payment in advance for new clients
- Accepted payments: Credit card, ACH transfer, wire transfer, check (for established accounts)
- Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month after 30 days
- Orders on hold for non-payment more than 30 days may be cancelled and deposits forfeited
Shipping and Delivery
Lead times quoted are estimates and not guaranteed unless stated in writing. ExCom is not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs, or force majeure events. Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the shipping carrier. We recommend insurance for high-value shipments.
Returns and Warranty
We stand behind our work. If a part has a manufacturing defect (not matching approved specifications), we will reprint or refund at our discretion. Claims must be made within 14 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We do not accept returns for parts matching the approved specifications.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Export Commodity LLC’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.
Confidentiality
We treat your project information and designs as confidential. Our team members are bound by confidentiality agreements. We will not disclose your project details to competitors or third parties without your written consent.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Harris County, Texas.
