SLA Printing

Stereolithography — highest detail resolution for visual models, dental, jewelry, and precision engineering.

XY Resolution
0.05mm
50-micron XY resolution captures surface detail invisible to FDM processes.
Layer Height
25–100 μm
Ultra-thin layers produce near-injection-molded surface finish straight off the printer.
Build Volume
330 × 192 × 300mm
Large-format SLA for full-size consumer product models and display pieces.
Surface Finish
Sub-Ra 2μm
Post-processed SLA achieves surface finishes approaching CNC-machined quality.
SLA Technology

Detail that redefines
what’s possible.

Stereolithography uses UV laser to cure liquid photopolymer resin layer by layer, producing parts with exceptional surface quality and dimensional accuracy. SLA is the process of choice for visual prototypes, master patterns, and applications where surface finish is critical.

ExCom’s SLA fleet includes Form 3L large-format printers plus high-precision desktop systems for small, ultra-detailed parts.

Best ApplicationsVisual prototypes, master molds, dental models, jewelry patterns, figurines, and engineering models.
Resin OptionsStandard, engineering, flexible, high-temp, dental, castable, and ceramic-filled resins.
Post-CuringAll SLA parts are UV post-cured in our wash & cure stations for optimal material properties.
FinishingLight sanding produces mirror finish. Painting, priming, and polishing available.
